A 7-year-old girl was a passenger inside a Dodge Dart when a Ford F-150 pickup truck T-boned the vehicle and fled the scene. The crash occurred on Saturday, December 11, in Houston, TX.
A 7-year-old boy and the driver of the Dodge Dart were also injured in the crash. The 7-year-old girl was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a few days later.
On December 11, a Dodge Dart was traveling northbound on Cullen when a black Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling westbound on Schurmier ran a stop sign and T-boned the Dodge Dart. After the crash, the driver of the pickup truck and two other passengers took off on foot.
The driver of the Dodge Dart and a 7-year-old male passenger were injured in the crash. The 7-year-old girl passenger of the Dodge Dart was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a few days later. The passengers of the Dodge Dart were headed home after a birthday party when the crash occurred.
Police are still searching for the suspects that fled the scene of the crash. The HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Hit and Run Unit is asking anyone with information to contact them at 713-247-4072.
